Today you are being reminded to hold space for yourself.

Hold yourself with love and compassion.

Be firm with your boundaries.

Know where you end, and other people begin.

It’s time to recognise all that you have been through, the challenges that you have faced and continue to face, and honour how you truly feel about them.

We can often try and put on a brave face or focus on the positives, but denying the truth only buries the pain and discomfort, it doesn’t heal, resolve or allow it to pass though you

It sits there accumulating more, waiting to get your attention.

Hold space for yourself to feel your feelings, do what you need to do to let go and move through it.

Hold yourself with love and compassion.

You no longer need to carry the pain within you.

You certainly don’t have to do it alone.

Know where you end, and others begin so that you don’t carry the emotional weight and expectations of others.

Everything in nature has the ability to restore itself, to heal and come back to balance. As you are an integral part of nature, this power is within you too.

But you must give yourself the opportunity to do this, give yourself the right surroundings, and of course permission.

For healing to appear externally, it must of course be healed within first.

Adding a band-aid of bypassing will not heal an issue.

You must show yourself compassion and be willing to feel all the feels, even when it makes you uncomfortable.

To be able to do this, to consciously acknowledge your pain, without allowing it to take over, brings you into deeper integrity with yourself.

In this very moment, just pause and take a breath, as you hold space for yourself.

Today’s SHEro action is to acknowledge your feelings.

To breath into them and allow yourself to feel them.

As you do, hold space for yourself.

Show yourself the same tender love and compassion that you would a new born child.

Ask yourself what you need?

Do you need to do anything with the feelings, take action, write about them, share them, or do you just need to witness them?

Pause, and take a breath. As you allow yourself to be held by your own love and compassion.
